Research & discovery

The research phase serves as the foundation of any successful project. Before diving into design, we defined goals, clarified key messaging, and identified target audiences. This process helps clients reflect on what they truly want, and my role is to guide that exploration.

Crafting a visual identity

The outcomes of the research and discovery phase come to life through brand boards featuring color schemes, typography, and design elements. After narrowing the options, we moved forward with the website layout.

Wireframes and website design

In this phase, I mocked up wireframes applying the color schemes and typography esablished in the previous phase. The wireframes, in short, help us visualize the site's structure and user experience before any changes are made on the website itself. I presented multiple design iterations and refined the layout based on Dr. Payne-Sturges’s preferences. This collaborative process ensured the site felt both professional and personal.

Writing & refining web copy

Strong design goes hand in hand with strong content. I worked with Dr. Payne-Sturges’s original website copy, incorporating her professional statement to ensure the text complemented the site’s design and purpose.
