Gunpowder Riverkeeper files motion to join Maryland’s suit over water pollution near Joppa

The Riverkeeper for the Gunpowder River, a tributary of the upper Chesapeake Bay, has filed a motion to join the Maryland Department of the Environment’s case against a real-estate developer for hundreds of permit violations over two years. The state is seeking significant fines and restoration of the affected waterways.
